About Motor City Massage Company

 

Motor City Massage Company was founded in January 2017 with a mission to help people feel better in their bodies through professional, therapeutic massage. What began with a focus on corporate chair massage services has grown into a full wellness practice dedicated to supporting relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being.

 

Later that same year, in June 2017, the founders of Motor City Massage Company were married, combining both their personal and professional journeys. As licensed massage therapists and business partners, they share a passion for helping clients reduce stress, relieve tension, and improve their quality of life through skilled bodywork.

 

Today, Motor City Massage Company is expanding beyond its corporate wellness roots to offer full-body table massage treatments in a calm and welcoming environment. Our services now include therapeutic massage, couples massage experiences, prenatal and postnatal care, lymphatic drainage therapy, and CBD recovery treatments tailored to each client’s needs.

 

Whether you’re looking to relax, recover from muscle tension, or simply take time for self-care, our goal is to provide personalized care that helps you feel restored, balanced, and renewed.

 

Rob and Jen have more than 30 years combined massage experience.

The Dockery's were happily married on Belle Isle State Park in June 2017 and reside in lovely Shelby Township, Michigan.  They find rest and relaxation in activities such as hiking and hanging out with their boy cat Stevie Wonder.  And they find immense joy in the various art and cultural events which are so plentiful in southeastern Michigan.
